you don't see them together anymore after this. the next morning, rory & lorelai have breakfast at the diner, rory sees the necklace lorelai is wearing (the one luke bought but didnt give at first) and they kinda end the show the way they started it. but no more luke/lorelai moments :(

How does the diner scene end? Bad?

wow. wow. wow. Now I know that isn't the final Luke and Lorelai seen that we all wanted and prayed for (ie a wedding) but just those few words... especially Lorelai's "luke.." is just filled with sooo much emotion you can clearly see the open, deep rooted feelings they hold for each other. They know they belong together.. they went through the toughest of toughs with their horrendous breakup that lasted a year. And yet here..we see.. that through it all. They still love each other completely

yes i have heard that but i doubt its going to happen, i think it would be really smart though!! it'd make the actors, producers and anyone else involved a good amount of money anddd all us fans would be happy with a real ending!
