What's wrong with you people?! I absolutely hate Jess. He's the sterytypical 'bad-boy' who's a complete asshoel to everyone, including rory whenever he feels like it. True, Dean was boring but at least he was fucking a nice guy! Logan's a twat of course, but... let's draw a vale over that sudden character change that was the new writers...

Jess looks alot like Bruce Springsteen on the cover of Darkness on the edge of town. Just sayn'. Rory was so stupid. Choosing both Dean and Logan over Jess is insanity! He's SO smart, witty and hotter than hell. I've always liked him, but he so stole my heart in season 6. He had looks&heart&brain. I'd marry him in a heartbeat. :)

Forget about Rory, the best thing about Jess was his hilarious scenes with Luke. Their scenes became my favourite part of the show and were much funnier than the lorelai/rory ones.

You forgot the scene where there are parents in Luke's diner and a woman breasts feeds. Jess comes down and sees it and says "oh jeeze!" and runs back upstairs! Now that was funny!

Yes, I think you're right. And I think one reason why Lorelai don't want Jess to be Rory's boyfriend is just because they're so similar. She knows how she has been in his age nad she don't want anyone like that for her daughter. But Jess and Rory are perfect together. Love them.

And of course the question is... WHY? Why would she pick LOGAN over JESS? (and a bigger question: will he ever forgive her?)

Right? I think the reason Lorelai never liked Jess that much was because of the things she said in his debut episode: he's pretty much the guy version of teen!Lorelai. They're frighteningly similar.
